Q: I want to ensure I don’t miss any problems with my dog’s health. How do Ispot them?

A: Making sure your dog completes his yearly wellness exam is extremely important in being proactive with his health. Daily observations of your dog’s behavior and physical well-being may help you catch issues early on. Performing routine handling and grooming is one activity that can help you notice any physical changes in your dog, such as bumps, soreness and sudden sensitivities to being touched. Pay close attention to other changes, like loss of appetite, lethargy, changes in gait, avoiding daily activities and more. Please consult your veterinarian as soon as you notice anything out of the ordinary, behaviorally or physically, with your pet.
