D.I.Y.

Materials

• 1 cup canned pumpkin
• 1/2 cup unsweetened plain applesauce
• 1 cup grated carrots
• 2 cups brown rice flour
• 1/2 cup uncooked oatmeal
• 1/4 cup brown rice flour for rolling
• Baking molds or cookie cutter

Instructions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

In a food processor blend pumpkin, applesauce, and carrots until smooth.

Mix brown rice flour and oatmeal in a bowl. Add wet ingredients to the dry and mix by hand until dough forms.

On a floured countertop or cutting board, roll dough and use cookie cutter or molds.

Place shaped dough on a greased cookie sheet or in molds and bake for 7 minutes. Flip treats over and bake for another 5 minutes.

Remove from oven and cool thoroughly.

FUN FACT
Meerkats usually form family groups of about 20 members, but they can grow as large as 50. These groups are called a mob, gang or clan.
