Can I take my dog to a restaurant?

Service dogs are okay, but other dogs are allowed only on outdoor patios that you can access without going inside. Do not walk or carry your dog through the restaurant to access the patio. She also has to be leashed for the duration of your stay, and isn’t allowed on chairs or tabletops. Don’t be offended if your server doesn’t ask to pet your dog—they’re not supposed to. And if you order Fido a water, it has to be in a disposable container. Note that this applies only to restaurants with outdoor patios. Dogs are not allowed in indoor-only eateries, coffee shops, grocery stores or convenience stores.
