Underwater Parks Day

Celebrate the third annual Underwater Parks Day. Meet animals that live in our local La Jolla Ecological Reserve, learn about the importance of our underwater treasures and explore the best ways to enjoy our underwater parks!

UNDERWATER PARKS DAY PHOTO CONTEST

Underwater parks, also known as marine protected areas, help preserve important underwater habitats, yet for many San Diegans these treasures are hidden from view. Help us share in the beauty of these parks by submitting your photographs of the San Diego-La Jolla Underwater Park and other marine reserves. Submission deadline: Jan. 6. Check aquarium.ucsd.edu for more information.
