Birdie Blue Eyes is as sweet as she is beautiful. This lovely feline was found wandering with no collar or microchip. Hopefully someone will fall in love with her and give her the loving forever home she deserves.

Petting her is so much fun. She rolls and purrs and lifts her butt into the air - it is too cute!

You can meet Birdie & her feline friends at the Coronado Animal Care Facility. Call Bob, a cat adoption counselor, at 619-840-9727 for more information.

Little Henry is truly living up to his nick name of "Batman". He is quite a handful being both intelligent & inquisitive. But you can;t help but love this adorable boy - he is very loving and purrs constantly!

Thank you for this post!

Corinne Mitchell

I have been involved with cat rescue for many years now, mostly through my role as Animal Ambassador for Best Friends Animal Sanctuary. This has included taking part in the Great Kitty Rescue and other smaller cat rescue efforts, taming and socializing cats, helping cats find their forever homes and more.

I am also a cat writer for the San Diego Examiner and a cat blogger currently with 8 websites devoted to cat behavior, cat health and cat rescue and adoptions.

Earlier this year, I signed up to volunteer with PAWS of Coronado. I became involved with the Cat Petting Program and then in June was asked to join the Cat Adoption Team.

I love the opportunities all of these activities offer me to help cats and people.
