Annual Study Summary Baseline studies were conducted on canine, feline and equine subjects. Baseline data was collected in three formats; anecdotally, thermography and the Equine Full Body Scan. All subjects presented with or were reported to have medical maladies, behavioral issues or a combination of both. Medical maladies included but were not limited to acute retinal atrophy, diabetes, allergy induced bacterial infections, flea infestation, ulcers and spinal disk degeneration. Behavioral issues included but were not limited to aggression, territorial barking, pacing and hyper-activity as well as other behaviors related to anxiety. At the conclusion of each baseline study a PHD collar or tag was applied to the subject. Thermography allowed for results to been seen within thirty minutes of application. These results demonstrated an almost immediate reduction of inflammation. The Equine Full Body Scan was conducted two days as well as two weeks post baseline study. These results also demonstrated a drastic reduction of inflammation. The anecdotal data collected allowed parents/owners to report the changes they observed in their pets over the course of one week, thirty days, sixty days, ninety days, six months and one year. All parents reported observing positive changes in both their animal’s health as well as behavior with-in one week of the technology being applied. Some of the positive changes observed included but is not limited to; a cessation of bacterial yeast infections, a reduction of skin irritation, improved gate and movement, a reduction in territorial barking and aggression and a cessation of incontinence. Positive changes continued to increase through-out the study. At approximately the three month mark many issues including orthopedic and behavioral hit a stasis. The improvements made have lasted throughout the one year study but did not continue to improve after the ninety days. However, also at the ninety day mark a drastic minimization of fleas and ticks was noted. In conclusion, after one year, all test results have been positive and while results vary in intensity no negative responses have been reported or observed. The most noted outcomes have been a complete cessation of allergy induced bacterial ear infections, a complete cessation of limping due to orthopedic issues such as disk degeneration, a reduction in anxiety and the behaviors associated with anxiety and a drastic minimization of fleas and ticks. All studies are ongoing. Participating subjects will continue to be followed as well as new subjects being added to the study. In addition, additional tests will be added to assist in the further compilation of empirical data. *A blood test was conducted by Dr. Gershon Aluluf, DVM. . A sample was drawn on a Jack Russel terrier prior to the application of the technology. Examined through the microscope it is clear that the blood cells were clumped together and “sticky” with little movement. The PHD was placed on the dog and thirty minutes was allowed for the body to respond to the technology. After thirty minutes a second blood draw was conducted and upon examination it was clear the cells began “vibrating” and pulling away from the clumps to flow more smoothly. Blood cell movement is necessary for better oxygenation of the blood to increase healing. ** A follow up was conducted at the one year three month mark. All participants continue to note the positive effects of PHD on their pets. In addition to the positive changes already noted above many parents reported that their pet did not have a negative response to Fourth of July fireworks as they have in previous years. Studies are ongoing and new participants are being added. For example, a new subject was added to the study due to an unresolved issue with canine warts. Canine warts are a result of a compromised immune system. This particular subject had a wart removed leaving an open wound approximately one inch in diameter that was not healing. A PHD product was applied to the dog and within two days the wound had scabbed over and reduced in size to just under 1.5 cm. This study, as all studies are ongoing.
